ARE YOU WATCHING CLOSELY?

The illusion is a performing art and spectacle of skill and ingenuity, which is to produce artificial effects in wonderful and inexplicable appearance of unknown causes while making them. These effects (disappearances, transformations, unions, mind reading, etc.) that make it seem really mock the impossible, are known as magic tricks or illusions.

In reality, some countries apply a lot of this tool to mislead the people of the crisis (economic and /or political). That is, as the simple magic trick, the society look at my left hand is distracting then surprise them with something in my other hand.

Politically, the distraction of a high social impact made without political prejudice generates confusion in other situations the same level of political impact injury results in impunity.
The time to use the illusion is key in this game of power, you can not use it all the time but the people realize the abuse of this trick, the accuracy is when the crisis can not be relaxed for other tools (eg. football, natural disaster, gossip, etc.).

In this article, call the crisis following the publication of the Cato Institute on the definition of government corruption, such as violation of public interest for personal gain or partisan. Obviously, this broad definition goes beyond the simple theft of public funds and includes the use and abuse of political power to consolidate that power in order to get rank and material wealth. It also includes acts that undermine the ethical values of the society governed, even if not involved a material loss (http://www.elcato.org/node/2080).

Some characteristic examples of political illusions:
1) Illusion I (PERU): Judgement of conviction with a custodial sentence effectively to the television host Magaly Medina. Crisis situation: Corruption of officials from the main government agency that holds contracts with private oil ("Case PeruPetro or Petrotech").
2) Illusion II (PERU): Benefits of Lori Berenson prison (convicted of terrorism) and order of appearance of Alberto Pizango (mastermind of the death of 23 policemen in the incident of Bagua). Crisis situation: Acts of corruption from the former prime minister of peruvian government 2007-2011.

For all the above and to the landscape both municipal and presidential elections in Peru, I doubt that if we do not really realize the problems of corruption or do not have the interest of focus.
